Most real estate agencies focus on the sale of residential houses, with property rental and management considered to be the poor relation, usually handled by fairly junior staff.  My focus is different, because I see the property management activity as a vital support to the sales activity.  For the first three years of the company’s existence after buying Raine and Horne’s property rent roll, we specialised in property management, expanding to a dominant rental position in the Beecroft and Cheltenham areas of the Upper North Shore of Sydney.  We achieved this through competent ethical and caring property management, and are continuing that focus now that we have refranchised as Ray White, and taken on sales as well.

As a result of our thriving rental business, we now have access to lots of good will locally, with many personal contacts in the Sydney Northern Districts, that enable us to track the pulse of the whole range of the property market in our area.  We are able to monitor trends in rental and sale prices, and so can advise landlords on what rent is realistically achievable, and can advise owners of what sale price to put on a house.  We also have many contacts, especially landlords, abroad who spread the word about how good we are.
