Recent research says only 24% of first time property investors will allow tenants with pets. This despite 45% of households in Australia having one or more dogs. That survey concludes “property owners who are happy to rent to people with furry friends could open their properties up to a much wider rental market. The report recommends that owners willing to allow pets should make this very clear in their advertising.
